Our mission is to make quality horse care and riding experiences accessible to everyone—offering flexible, affordable boarding options designed to meet a variety of needs, alongside engaging lesson programs for riders of all levels. With a strong emphasis on safety, confidence-building, and enjoyment, we strive to create an environment where both horses and riders can truly thrive.
About the owners
J Bar K Farms is a family-owned and operated ranching facility, established in 2017 with a vision of creating a welcoming environment where riders can learn, grow, and genuinely enjoy their time with horses. Rooted in practical horsemanship and western riding traditions, the farm offers thoughtfully structured lesson programs that support the development of confidence, technical skill, and a strong foundation in horse care.
As active competitors in team penning and ranch sorting, the owners regularly travel throughout the province and compete at national and recently, at international levels.
With decades of combined experience across multiple disciplines, their approach to teaching emphasizes solid fundamentals, consistency, and a positive, supportive learning atmosphere for riders at every stage.
