Our Mission
At J Bar K Farms, we offer affordable outdoor horse boarding solutions tailored to fit individual needs. Beginning May 2025, we are excited to offer private and semi-private riding lessons, horsemanship programs and Youth Get Started programs designed to increase self-confidence and self-acceptance in a safe and nurturing environment.
Youth may qualify for a government grant through recreational activity programs, please contact us to discuss eligibility and allow us to help you through the application process.

About the owners
About Us
J Bar K Farms is Owned and operated by Jason (Jay) and Kristen, who have been building their dream farm together since 2017. Jay, an experienced cattleman and Kristen an experienced horsewoman. Together they compete in a sport called Team Penning which takes them all over the province and to National competitions in Alberta.
Kristen has owned horses and has competed in a variety of different disciplines for 30+ years. Today Kristen brings her many years of experience and knowledge to her own programs being offered, please check out the lesson programs page to learn more and to register.
